PT-141 is a melanocortin receptor agonist, specifically targeting MC-4 and MC-3 receptors in the brain. MC3R and MC4R receptors are in the hypothalamus (a key brain region involved in sexual behaviour, these receptors regulate sexual arousal.

This is why PT-141 can trigger arousal and desire, not just improve physical function. Unlike drugs like Sildenafil or Tadalafil, which work on blood flow, PT-141 works on the central nervous system to boost sexual desire

Apply 5 sprays to each side of the nose (total of 10 sprays = 2mg), once daily at least 30 minutes before intercourse. Administration: Intranasal, around 30–60 minutes before sexual activity. Onset: May take 30 minutes to 2 hours. Duration: Effects can last up to 6–12 hours in some people. Maximum: usually no more than 1 dose in 24 hours and 8 doses per month
Nausea, Flushing, Nasal congestion
Avoid in uncontrolled hypertension. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Not approved for individuals under 18 years.
